Matching Pair - Ladle and Spatula
Wood - Lemon Tree Wood from San Luis Obispo, CA
Both items are approx. 13" long
Spatula area is 3" wide x 4" long, Ladle is 2.5" wide x 4" long.
Both pieces are from the same branch. I found the wood already cut from a tree by an arborist and salvaged the wood thinking it would make a great shape for a spatula. I didn't realize at the time that there was a ladle in there as well! I can't take credit for the beautiful curve, that was all the tree.
Lemon Wood Set
Handmade Wooden Spoons and Bowls To keep your handmade wooden spoons in excellent condition, hand wash them with warm water and mild soap immediately after use. Avoid soaking or putting them in the dishwasher, as prolonged exposure to water can cause cracking or warping. Periodically, treat your spoons with food-safe mineral oil or beeswax to maintain their luster and prevent drying out. Store them in a dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight. With proper care, your wooden spoons will last for years, developing a beautiful patina over time.
